    It is a cute and practical concept for anyone that just maybe isn't comfortable with tents or needs something for a night or two. I would feel a bit more secure in this than a tent.

    • @CampMymy
      @CampMymy 5 днів тому

      You should take a look at the Nucamp T@G teardrop. It is a fully functional teardrop with a kitchen, heat, A/C, 2 doors and only a couple thousand more in price. This I would equate to sleeping in the back of my car, which I also do quite often lol. Vistabule is great quality, I personally just would not love crawling out of the back every time.

    • @daynaphipps4912

      @@CampMymyyeah, the nucamp would probably be my second choice. Though, I'm going to need something a bit more compact, less weight in the future. I already have camp stove and such things. Do I'm probably going to go with a 10' Hiker Traiiler. I can configure a kitchen in the back. I can also get a 270° awning and panels later. It costs less than this Vestibule too. The Nucamp is way out of my price range. I think I can get everything I need or want except for the bathroom that the Nucamp has for half the price. Including Starlink and solar power.

    Thanks for the video. Nice to see it done before trying it myself. Question: In my Pahaque 5 x 7 in each corner about 4 feet off the floor there are 6 inch elastic loops with a small black hook on the ends. Do you know the purpose of these elastic straps? It's not obvious to me.

    This is a pretty cool product, and we just bought one two days ago. The evening after buying this product, we found that one of the pols' elastic chord had been broken at one end and the segments of one of the longer poles would not stay together. So, after some work, we were able to tie a small nylon chord to both ends of the broken elastic chord. We contacted Kelty and got a huge argument from them about replacing the pole under warranty. They gave us zero options until I threatened to review them negatively on the internet. They then told me to destroy the shelter (cut it up and break the poles) and send pictures that we destroyed it, and they would send a new one. IT WAS JUST THE POLE! Why destroy the whole thing? After contacting a customer service (CS) manager, the CS rep offered to replace just the pole, but asked for a proof of purchase (which we had already sent them) along with pictures of the damage. Unfortunately, we didn't take pictures of the damage before we tried our own repair. Now, the damage is hidden in the pole segment and we would have had to break it to get to the damage to take a picture. So, we'll just wait for it to break again. Not sure I would purchase another Kelty product after this CS experience.

      @@jesslyndalton5375 yes, that is exactly what I mean. You could attach it, but would not align with the camper.

    we ordered this for our small teardrop - the only worry we have is height between ground and bottom of window/door is 23 inches - one inch higher then 22 inch max allowance specified in specifications - will this be a problem?

      Hi! I can’t say for certain but I think it will attach just fine, it seems pretty flexible to me.

      Hi! I don't think so, I think they are too wide to hold 2 side by side. You could look into an Exped Double Mattress which may fit but I would measure first.
